Thoughts

Alan, I have the fondest of memories with you as a Department TA in Humanities at Cedars. I was in so many of your wonderful lessons, that I said to you that maybe I could take my Geography GCSE with the Year 11s at the time?! Of course, this made you cheer with glee! I initially wanted to sit it in the foundation tier but you insisted that I needed to be sitting in higher! When I got an 'A' you were so proud, even noting it as one of the highlights of your career at Cedars in your leaving speech. You then tried to persuade me to study Geography at A Level! Aside from that, you made me laugh, became a confidant at my time of need and have left me with many memories that I will treasure forever. The field trips were hilarious, as were your tales of having stand off's with mountain goats! You are the bestest - a legendary teacher. You will be missed. Thank you for the privilege of being my teacher of much. Naomi x

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
